Hi, I’m Julie
Many people come to therapy already knowing themselves well. They have done the work: therapy, meditation, reflection, and still find themselves stuck in the same patterns, disconnected from ease or joy, unable to feel what they understand.
That gap between knowing and feeling is often where my work begins.
I work experientially and relationally, guiding people to connect more fully with their inner world. That means bringing awareness into the body, getting curious about the parts of ourselves running the show, and creating space for a steadier, clearer presence to emerge. One that can lead with compassion and real choice rather than old protective strategies.
“MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION ARE
FOUNDATIONAL TO HOW I WORK”
…not as techniques to perform, but as a way of relating differently to thoughts, emotions, and the inner voices that can feel harsh or overwhelming.
Relationship is at the center of all of it.
People often tell me they feel deeply understood here, in a way that has been missing. I listen carefully, use precise language, and adjust in real time so clients feel genuinely met and cared for.
My trained therapy dog Rooney is also part of the team, offering another source of warmth and support in the space we share. When I'm not in session, you'll find me on the waters and mountains of Puget Sound with Rooney by my side.
